Scuba

Sitter needed: 3/29/23 - 4/3/23

Scuba may be a big boy, but he loves all people and wants to be their cuddle bug. He always wants to cuddle with them, curling up on the couch and snuggling in their laps. And of course, he hopes for their petting.

Scuba is always happy to meet new people, and besides snuggling with them, he enjoys going for walks, especially long lake walks. He's a polite, respectful boy who leash walks very well, doing no pulling. He has been happy to meet children on walks and is very gentle with them. And he loves to run around and play with dogs in the neighborhood, gentle with them, too.

This outgoing boy understands sit and lay down. At home, he does very well in his crate, sometimes going in during the day to take naps. He does well there when his foster is away from home and has not been destructive when left to free roam the house.

He loves chewing his stuffed animal and sleeps with it overnight. Scuba is blind in one eye and does have some separation anxiety. His anxiety is being treated and he's becoming more confident daily.

Scuba will love a home with parents who are there most of the time and can take him on many walks and continue helping him build his confidence. He loves being outside, so will enjoy a yard. He will love medium to big dog buddies. He has tried to chase cats, so will do best in a cat-free home. Come meet him. Offer him a cuddle and he'll run home with you!
