Here is a bio that Evan's current shelter wrote for him!
"Evans is a 53-55 lb male lab/shepherd mix (he has beautiful wavy hair along his back) with an easy going demeaner, lots of natural confidence (but not pushy) and a need for a great home! Evans is quite friendly with novel people, walks well on a leash, has medium energy and always tries to do his business outside his kennel. He has done well with all the dogs he's met in the play yard - male and female. His play style is very relaxed - more companionable that playful. He loves to sniff in the yard and is happy to explore with other dogs, but doesn't roughhouse or engage in much bodily contact. Evans was found as a stray dog and it took a professional (animal control) to catch him but he seems eager to learn about all the things a dog should know are super fun: car rides, couch snuggles, going places, chew toys. We don't have any cat intel and no direct kid intel but he seems like a really promising fit for a family with kids. He is virtually silent in the shelter, non-reactive on his walks, and also seems like a great candidate for accompanying to the brewery or on outdoor adventures. In short: he's a chill dog with an amazingly cute face and a really lovely personality for a wide variety of home situations!"
