Bette Midler has been through a lot! She had to have an emergency c section to retrieve her babies because they were stuck in her. If a shelter employee hadn't noticed something was wrong, she likely would have died.
The pups were born 11/21 and are doing just fine. Mom is doing a great job nursing them, but is very young and not ready for a family yet. She loves people and is so sweet and easy to be around. She has also done well with other dogs!
Can you take this family in until the pups are weaned, or better yet, adopted?
