Shylee (known as Miss Koko-Loco by her fosters) is a loving, goofy, and energetic girl. When she gets some energy out, she is happy to be glued next to you, snuggling on the couch and snoozing. She always wants to be in the room with you! She also loves to play fetch indoors with her plushy, squeaky toys.

She can take a minute to warm up to strangers but when she knows they're OK, she wants to lean in and get all their pets! Once she knows that you are her friend, she is very loving and affectionate.

Shylee loves to explore the outdoors on walks. She seems excited and interested in large, calm dogs on walks and the dogs she meets through fences. She's dog friendly and likes going to APA's playgroups. She can be excited to see squirrels and cats on walks, too, but can be easily redirected.

When visiting homes with backyards, her favorite things to do are patrol for squirrels and run back and forth along the fence with her neighboring dog buddies. She can do that for hours.

She is house- and crate-trained and understands sit and down. Super smart, she will love more training to practice her leash walking with you. She loves all treats and chewing bones. She does well in her crate when home alone and does not seem to have separation anxiety

Her ideal home will have a fenced yard where she can run a few times per day. She could be an only pet but do well with a medium or large dog with proper intros. She prefers adults and older kids due to her size and energy and will probably do best with no cats and small dogs because of her high energy. Come meet this lovable girl.
