Closing Time is a very lovable boy who can always match what you want to do. He's a very active, energetic, playful boy who can also be a big couch potato and will love to cuddle right up with you. He'll love to sit on your lap -- or even sit on your feet while you cook dinner. And he's a very affectionate boy who loves giving kisses.

Closing came to foster with an injured front leg. He's now recovering well, and it doesn't slow him down. He's an early riser who loves to run out in the backyard and play with his fosters' dog. He'll play with toys, fly around and do zoomies. Then he loves a walk around the neighborhood, just pulling if he sees a squirrel.

He does love his dog buddy. He plays very nicely with him and they share toys, food and the water bowl. He's also excited to see dogs on the street and hopes to play with them. He's also been great with neighboring kids, happy to take treats and sit with them. At home, after his romps he's an easygoing boy who's happy to become a rag doll, chilling out on the couch and chewing his toys.

He's a smart boy who understands sit and stay. He's getting better about going in his crate, and once in he does well at night and while his fosters are away from home. And he is house-trained.

Closing will love a home with parents who work from home or are at home a lot. He'll love to both romp and lounge with them - and continue his training. He'll enjoy a young, active and very tolerant dog buddy, and he does well with kids. Come meet this lively, lovable boy!

PUPPIES AND OTHER HIGHLY-ADOPTABLE DOGS DISCLAIMER:

Puppies and other highly-adoptable dogs (small dogs or desirable-breed dogs) at APA! are very high in demand and usually have several interested adopters. Inquiring about a dog, meeting a dog, and even applying for a dog does not guarantee that you will be able to adopt the dog. Only one household will be able to adopt each dog, which means all other interested households will inevitably and unfortunately be disappointed. Please consider this in your search and set your expectations accordingly. Please also consider that adult dogs do not typically have competing adopters, and they need furever homes, too! Additionally, APA! does not allow the adoption of dogs who are related (e.g., littermates or mom and pup) to the same household for behavioral reasons.
