Apple Blossom is a pup as sweet and pretty as her name! She is a 1-year old, ~50-lb pointer mix who likes nothing more than to nap, stroll the block, sniff the smells, gnaw her bones -- and cuddle with you.
She is house-trained, eats voraciously, gobbles her meds in pill pockets, sleeps in her crate overnight, and is quiet when she's comfy. She is pretty content with in-house enrichment, lots of chewing toys, slow, short walks, backyard potty breaks, sunbathing -- and pets and snacks.
Apple is on hospice because of an enlarged heart and a related terminal condition, which means her lifestyle is low energy. However long she has, she is committed to spending it by showering her people with affection! Her prognosis isn't holding her back! She is eager to learn and encounter new things and has already mastered sit, lie down and come.
You can help her keep practicing paw, bed, crate and other commands. A handful of tasty snacks will help, but more than that, she will just want to melt into a cuddle puddle with you all day long!
