Hook is a very funny young puppy. Now in foster with his sister, they play all day long. He loves to play with her - and he also loves to play with all his toys, especially ones he can chew on. And he will run and chase after balls.

He's also a cuddly boy who loves his fosters. He follows them everywhere because he always wants to be where they are. When they're on the couch, he wants to jump up and cuddle with them.

He easily goes in his crate, crying briefly and then settling down and doing well when his fosters are away. When he knows his fosters are nearby, he does want out to be with them.

He's a smart boy who's also working on his house-training, starting to let it be known that he needs to go outdoors by standing by the window and walking in front of the door.

Hook will love a home where he can be around people most of the day and can go outdoors to run around a lot. And he'll probably love a home with other dogs. Come meet this active, fun-loving boy!

PUPPIES AND OTHER HIGHLY-ADOPTABLE DOGS DISCLAIMER:

Puppies and other highly-adoptable dogs (small dogs or desirable-breed dogs) at APA! are very high in demand and usually have several interested adopters. Inquiring about a dog, meeting a dog, and even applying for a dog does not guarantee that you will be able to adopt the dog. Only one household will be able to adopt each dog, which means all other interested households will inevitably and unfortunately be disappointed. Please consider this in your search and set your expectations accordingly. Please also consider that adult dogs do not typically have competing adopters, and they need furever homes, too! Additionally, APA! does not allow the adoption of dogs who are related (e.g., littermates or mom and pup) to the same household for behavioral reasons.
