Peaches has an inquisitive personality. The second she heard the toy squeaker, she was all ears! Peaches is an active girl and has a social personality so she loves meeting new people and dogs. Peaches was in foster care during the Arctic Freeze, and this is what her foster family had to say about her: "Peaches seems to be housetrained. She did well in a crate, although she doesn't care for it. If she sees you, she may get a little vocal."
They had cats and although she seemed excited when she first saw them, she hardly gave them a 2nd glance after a few minutes! She got along great with their other 2 pups. They said if she 'steals' a toy from the other pups - she does so very gently. They did say she jumps up when she is excited or wants some love (but, that's an easy fix). This gal rides well in the car and doens't like to dig.
They said Peaches is playful but can also chill in the recliner and watch football with a toy or chew stick. They said she was a lot the first 48 hours out of the shelter but after those first few days, she calmed down. She just seems to get excited by everyone and everything new, but calmed down once the newness wore off. They did notice that even though she loved playing with their other dogs, she seems to prefer humans over other dogs when given the chance. Can you save Peaches?
