If you have dogs and cats who would love a new friend, Scout would be so happy to be their buddy. Now in foster with both those furries, he likes the pups and clearly wants to be the kitties' friend. He loves being part of their family.

Scout also loves people after he gets to know them. He likes spending a lot of time in his crate, but when he leaves it, he makes a beeline run to everyone to greet them and get their petting and kisses. He now enjoys their affection and asks for their hugs.

Scout wants to be active and loves to go on walks. He enjoys sniffing the fence line and the yard to see what has happened there since his last outing. Then he's happy to go back in his crate for naps.

And he wants to eat! Scout came to the shelter with health issues. He was very underweight and has vision issues. Now he's very hungry, but has a problem eating, so is being manually fed by his foster. He's very obedient and sits patiently while his food is prepared. He just eagerly awaits the next meal - and walking adventure.

He's a very smart boy who comes when called and goes in his crate when he's asked to. He likes being in his crate and does well there, quiet and taking naps. He is also house-trained and potties quickly when taken outside.

Scout will love a home with parents who have time to care for him and continue his feeding. He will also love being entertained by dog and cat housemates but can be the only pet. Come meet Scout. Offer him a snack and he'll follow you home!
Come meet your new best friend
