Our vet says he has a grade 2/3 heart murmur ( likely due to his heartworms ) and is worried that he is wasting away since he has not put on any weight since his intake.
Chubbers is such a friendly senior fellow. He walks well on a leash and doesn't mind other dogs. He really loves affection from people and is quiet and well behaved in his kennel. He is HW positive and is beginning to show symptoms so we'd love to get him into a foster home to begin his heartworm treatment ASAP! The shelter where he is located cannot hold onto him much longer due to being overcrowded. Can you give this senior gentleman a soft place to land?
