Have you experienced overwhelming cuteness before? The kind of cuteness that does things to your heart and makes you question how you can possibly live without the creature in front of you? Freddie Mercury is that kind of cute AND he is available for adoption!

Freddie Mercury is adorable inside and out. His ready smile and beautiful eyes are backed by a personality we cannot get enough of. This boy loves to play, to snuggle, to ride in the car, and to go on adventures with his human. He walks well on leash, is not reactive to people or dogs (or even snuffling armadillos as he proved at a recent park outing!), and seems to have good living in a home skills. He loves to meet new people and wants to be everyone's friend!

Freddie can make a good playmate for dogs who can match his high energy level. He will also want to get in plenty of exercise with you. He's a young adult who will want to stay engaged with walks, playing fetch, and bone chomping - followed up with a nice long nap!

On a recent home visit, he was engaged with his humans but also able to be self-directed, didn't get into any non-doggie items, and only pottied outside.

Freddie would do best in a home with a large outdoor space for running. He would do super well with someone who wants to have a running buddy and loves to teach new tricks. We think he might be a water dog too so someone who can take him swimming would be awesome (he loves a good bath!)

This guy is a catch, y'all. An all around wonderful and charming dog with all the potential in the world to be a true best friend. He just needs his person to discover him!

INTERESTED IN FOSTERING?

This pup is currently located at our Town Lake Animal Center (1156 W. Cesar Chavez, but use 1200 Reserve Road for mapping purposes). We'd love to show them off to you! To learn more about them, head in any day between 12:00PM - 6:00PM. We are open 7 days a week! Go to Building B and ask to speak with a Matchmaker about fostering this pup. You will sit down and discuss all we know about them and, if it's a good fit, get to meet them then! Please budget for a wait time unless you arrive right at opening as we cannot dictate walk-in traffic (wait times tend to be highest in the evenings and on weekends). If this pup ends up not being the best fit, we have so many other pups in need that we can suggest for your household on the spot!

Come meet your new best friend
