Looking for a sweet, low-maintenance gentleman who comes with valuable experience on his resume? Luster might be your match! Luster is currently living with an APA! foster family, and he's more than ready to join your home.

Luster has some hip issues and some arthritis, so he keeps a fairly slow pace. That said, he loves to go for walks! They seem to help his hips as he'll start out stiff but begin moving better once he starts moving. He's very easy on leash and doesn't react to other dogs.

Luster is sharing his foster home with another dog, and they get along just fine. Luster has also had no problems meeting new dogs. If you already have a canine resident, chances are good that Luster will be compatible! Luster also meets a lot of people coming and going from his foster home, and he's been fine with everybody. He seems to enjoy meeting and smelling new people.

Around the home, Luster has been very polite. He's been left alone periodically, free to roam, for a few hours at a time. He hasn't caused any problems and is usually lying on his bed when his family returns. His foster family hasn't bothered to use a crate!

Luster is super-friendly with everyone. He loves all people. We've found him to be gentle, loyal and stress-free. He'll bring a chill vibe to your home! He's not too silly, but a great companion. Despite his stiff hips, he'll want to follow you all around the home (though he cannot go up and down stairs). He's always up for attention - he loves to be petted and talked to. He's not particularly food motivated but he won't turn down treats.
