Ginger so much wants to be a lap dog. As long as she is near her human friend, she's the happiest girl. She'll be your great snuggle buddy, nap partner, Netflix binge watcher, and she will love to get your hugs and gentle ear scratches.

This cuddly, outgoing girl loves going for walks with her fosters to explore the neighborhood, and she loves meeting friendly new people. She's excited and very happy to meet them and reacts with tail wags and tappy toes. She also enjoys getting head pets and ear scratches from neighboring kids. She's a dream on the leash, rarely pulling.

Ginger is sharing her foster home with two dogs. She gets along great with one. They play and snuggle on the tile floor for snoozes. The other pup is older and has boundaries, so she is learning to respect her. When she sees neighboring dogs or in parks, she gives her tail wags, tappy toes and wants to play.

She came to foster with some skin irritation and swelling problems. Her medication has done wonders and she's close to recovery. She's also learning so much. She recognizes her name now and understands come, no, drop it and sit. Her fosters work from home, so she has only been home alone briefly. She behaves well, snoozing on her bed and watching reruns on TV. She is about 85% house-trained and making progress every day.

Ginger will love a home with semi-active to active parents. She can be the only pet or share the home with dogs who match her energy. She will enjoy older kids who can run and play with her. A yard will be a plus but isn't necessary. Come meet this adorable girl. Her tail will wag and wag!
Come meet your new best friend
