Introducing Doxy, an adorable Chihuahua Hound mix puppy and sweet baby bundle of joy! Doxy lived in foster with her mom and was very social with her. Doxy lives with children and is playful and loving. She might be too much for a very young kid as she is teething now. She is nice to her fosters' cat and wants to play with her.

Doxy is fine when crated, sleeping all night and during the day. This means you can go out running your errands knowing she is safe in her crate.

Doxy is working on her house-training and is great at using pee pads. She is learning to use the backyard and getting better all the time! So smart, she should be house-trained in no time!

Doxy is also working on her leash-training skills and is coming along nicely. Doxy will make a great trail or hiking buddy when she gets a little older!

Doxy is very playful, and she is extremely loving and cuddly! Doxy loves belly rubs and will climb in your lap and fall asleep! She is great at meeting new people.

Doxy loves stuffed toys, a game of tug of war, belly rubs and car rides! She is very interested in other animals. Doxy will be great for dog parks or dog siblings.

Doxy is the perfect size to fit in any home or apartment. Doxy adapts well to any environment. She likes car rides and goes with the flow. And she sleeps through the night!

Do you have room in your heart and a place in your home for the sweet, playful, adorable Doxy? Come meet Doxy today!

PUPPIES AND OTHER HIGHLY-ADOPTABLE DOGS DISCLAIMER:

Puppies and other highly-adoptable dogs (small dogs or desirable-breed dogs) at APA! are very high in demand and usually have several interested adopters. Inquiring about a dog, meeting a dog, and even applying for a dog does not guarantee that you will be able to adopt the dog. Only one household will be able to adopt each dog, which means all other interested households will inevitably and unfortunately be disappointed. Please consider this in your search and set your expectations accordingly. Please also consider that adult dogs do not typically have competing adopters, and they need furever homes, too! Additionally, APA! does not allow the adoption of dogs who are related (e.g., littermates or mom and pup) to the same household for behavioral reasons.
