April Showers

April Showers is a very sweet girl who always wants to be with her human friends. She loves being cuddled and taking naps right next to them. Her foster says if she doesn't pay enough attention to April, this lovable girl will come to sit next to her, put her paw on her hand, roll over on her lap and rest her head on her. She really wants lots of pets!

April also loves her outdoor walks. She walks well on a leash, only pulling if she sees squirrels and cats. She's curious about people she sees and wants to sniff them, and she's very affectionate and gentle if they pet her. She's friendly with most dogs she meets, and she also interacts nicely with kids of all ages and loves their petting.

This outgoing, gentle girl very quickly learned to respond to her name, and she understands 'sit' and 'down.' She is treat-motivated and responds very well when she sees a treat in her foster's hand, her tail wagging.

She is house-trained and prefers to free-roam the house and does well when her foster is away, settling down quickly. She isn't a big fan of her crate but will stay inside to be trained there.

April is an easygoing girl who will fit well in most homes. She will love parents who can spend time with her and take her on outdoor adventures. She will enjoy being the only pet in the home. Come meet April. Offer her a cuddle and she'll trot home with you!
