Jelly Belly is a dream dog looking for her lifetime love!

Jelly Belly loves to greet her humans as soon as they come home. She's affectionate and happy, joyful, and easy to be around. She's always up for a romp in the yard, a tussle on the rug, or a snuggle on the bed or couch. She's happy to take whatever's offered.

Jelly Belly is a puppy with a heart the size of Texas, and with a bit of training, she'll be ready for whatever comes. She's already crate- and house-trained. She does great on a leash.

She loves toys, especially squeaky balls, and treats, especially peanut butter based. She's great at going out to get more sunshine since she loves to play outside so much

She does well as the only dog in a household but does even better when she's part of a pack. She plays and snuggles with her foster's dog and gets along famously with their moody old cat. She's quickly friendly with any visitor and has interacted well with everyone, the youngest 6 years old.

She doesn't understand many commands but obeys sit and responds very well to the tone of voice. She's very smart and food-motivated, so she will be easy to train, and will gobble fish oil capsules or pills in a gob of peanut butter when necessary. She's so eager to please.

She's a wonderful companion and has been a ray of lively sunshine in her fosters' life, but they're excited to see what her forever home looks like!

Reach out today to set up a meet-and-greet play date. You'll never want to be without her again.

PUPPIES AND OTHER HIGHLY-ADOPTABLE DOGS DISCLAIMER:

Puppies and other highly-adoptable dogs (small dogs or desirable-breed dogs) at APA! are very high in demand and usually have several interested adopters. Inquiring about a dog, meeting a dog, and even applying for a dog does not guarantee that you will be able to adopt the dog. Only one household will be able to adopt each dog, which means all other interested households will inevitably and unfortunately be disappointed. Please consider this in your search and set your expectations accordingly. Please also consider that adult dogs do not typically have competing adopters, and they need furever homes, too! Additionally, APA! does not allow the adoption of dogs who are related (e.g., littermates or mom and pup) to the same household for behavioral reasons.
