If you come to meet Presley, this playful, happy boy will be ready to become your best friend. He'll sniff you and want to play, especially if you'll toss him a toy.

Presley is in foster with his brother and his foster's two small dogs. He's a gentle boy who likes to wrestle and play with his brother. He's bigger than his two housemates and if they don't want to play, he'll bring them toys.

He loves to run in the backyard, especially if his foster tosses him a toy or stick, and he wants to get his brother and playmates to play chase and tug-o-war. Indoors, he likes to look out the window, and he hopes to get hugs from his foster mom. He will give her kisses and follow her around, and when she's sitting on a chair, he'll get in her lap. Then he'll go back to playing or chilling on the floor.

Presley is a very smart boy who sits for treats and is learning to obey stay and no. He goes straight to his crate for meals and when his foster is leaving for work, doing well with a bones or chew toy while she's away. He sleeps there overnight. And he is house-trained.

Presley will love a home with parents who can take him on walks or hikes and can continue training him. He will enjoy a dog buddy and a yard where he can run and play fetch. Come meet this velvety soft boy. And you can see more about him on Instagram: valarie113.

PUPPIES AND OTHER HIGHLY-ADOPTABLE DOGS DISCLAIMER:

Puppies and other highly-adoptable dogs (small dogs or desirable-breed dogs) at APA! are very high in demand and usually have several interested adopters. Inquiring about a dog, meeting a dog, and even applying for a dog does not guarantee that you will be able to adopt the dog. Only one household will be able to adopt each dog, which means all other interested households will inevitably and unfortunately be disappointed. Please consider this in your search and set your expectations accordingly. Please also consider that adult dogs do not typically have competing adopters, and they need furever homes, too! Additionally, APA! does not allow the adoption of dogs who are related (e.g., littermates or mom and pup) to the same household for behavioral reasons.
