Spring Break

Spring Break is as sweet and gentle as a dog can be. She has been friendly to every human and dog her foster has introduced her to. She is calm and prefers to be near people.

She does really well around school-aged kids and other dogs of all sizes and breeds. She loves to say Hi to kids as they walk home from school in her neighborhood.

Her favorite thing to do is to try to catch moths outside after the sun sets. She also loves to get neck scratches, explore the perimeter of the yard, meet new friends, and lay down near her human friends. She had come to the shelter needing surgery for a hind-end injury. She's now recovered, feeling good and has high energy.

She has been curious and friendly with other dogs, even those bigger than her. On leash walks outdoors, she seems interested in cats but doesn't pull toward them. She's also visited a home with a cat and was interested in it, but left it alone.

At home, she does well in her crate when her foster is away from home, and she is house-trained.
