Rover

Sitter needed: 05/30/23 - 06/16/23


If you would like to have a roommate who always makes sure you're doing okay, Rover can be your guardian. Every few minutes he'll check on you - and then he'll give you so many kisses. He'll also love to follow you around the yard while you do your gardening, and then follow you indoors to cuddle on the couch.

This very affectionate young boy always wants to be close to his humans. He can be shy when first meeting them but warms up to them. Once they win his trust, he becomes their excellent companion and caretaker.

Now in foster, he adores their older teenagers. He gets excited when his fosters return home after being away and covers them with kisses. But he's been very well-behaved while they're gone, nicely free-roaming the house.

Rover loves chasing tennis balls in the yard and enjoys going for walks. He's a slow walker and does no tugging because he wants to smell every flower and blade of grass. He has great interactions with dogs he sees. Back home, he is quickly learning commands. He already understands no, sit and treat. And he is house-trained.

Rover is an easygoing, playful boy who will love a home with a family. Come meet him. Tell him you need a guardian and he'll run home with you!
