Meet the new love of your life, Mr. Ned Leeds. Ned is an absolute love bug and wants nothing more than to be your best friend.

Ned is a sweet boy who had a rough start in life. He was found at 2 weeks- old with his two siblings abandoned on the side of a road in a rainstorm. His foster discovered that sweet Ned is blind. It doesn't slow him down. He uses his other senses (smell and hearing) to navigate the world and he is doing very well as he learns about his environment.

Ned lives with 5 large dogs, 4 cats, and two children ages 10 and 13. He gets along well with all of them. Ned loves playing in the water with his siblings. It's one of his favorite things to do. Besides playing and laying in the water, Ned enjoys napping on his favorite human's lap. When he's not napping, Ned loves playing with his foster puppy friends.

Ned is still working on potty training, but he has definitely mastered the art of using a pee pad! Ned has started crate training and he is doing quite well. He enjoys his own space and settles in quietly.

Ned is looking for a home where his owners can help him navigate the world as a blind dog while helping him feel confident, safe, and secure. Ned will do best in a home with children ages 6 and older. Because Ned is blind, small unpredictable humans scare him. Ned needs a home where his humans understand and respect his boundaries.

Ned is patiently waiting for his furever home. Could you be his furever family?

PUPPIES AND OTHER HIGHLY-ADOPTABLE DOGS DISCLAIMER:

Puppies and other highly-adoptable dogs (small dogs or desirable-breed dogs) at APA! are very high in demand and usually have several interested adopters. Inquiring about a dog, meeting a dog, and even applying for a dog does not guarantee that you will be able to adopt the dog. Only one household will be able to adopt each dog, which means all other interested households will inevitably and unfortunately be disappointed. Please consider this in your search and set your expectations accordingly. Please also consider that adult dogs do not typically have competing adopters, and they need furever homes, too! Additionally, APA! does not allow the adoption of dogs who are related (e.g., littermates or mom and pup) to the same household for behavioral reasons.
