Ted

If you would like to have an adventurous hiking buddy, Ted can sure be your boy. He LOVES walks! He doesn't even mind walking in the rain. Then back home, he becomes a couch potato cuddler. He'll want to be near you and will follow you wherever you go, hoping to snuggle and snooze with you.

On his leash walks, Ted is a gentle giant who's very friendly to people he sees, wanting to say hi to them. He does pull when he sees squirrels, dogs and cyclists. He's a big, strong boy, so his foster recommends that small children wait to walk with him until he completes his training.

At home, Ted is a big cuddle bug who's happiest when he's being petted and scratched. He wants to put his head across his foster mom's shoulder and snuggle on her lap. Then he's very quiet and content to snooze. He's also active and likes being outside. He has nicely sniffed noses with neighboring dogs through the fence.

A smart boy, he already understands basic commands, including sit, stay, down and no. He also understands where in the house he's allowed to go and hasn't damaged anything. He's very well-behaved and does well free-roaming the house when his foster is away from home. And he is house-trained.

Ted will love a home with an active parent who can take him for walks and hikes. He will also enjoy a yard. Come meet this very affectionate teddy bear. Offer him a walk and he'll follow you home!
