Church is such a friendly little dude! He can be shy when meeting new people, but he'll warm up soon and become so affectionate. He'll love to sit at your feet or in your lap, giving you so many kisses. If he's riding in the car with you, he'll even want to cuddle in your lap there.

This playful, bouncy young boy also loves playing with other dogs. He loves to begin playtime, running and chasing dog buddies, and he especially enjoys playing at the dog park with pups his size or bigger. In foster, he's having fun with their small, fluffy dog and loves playing with toys.

Church is fully leash-trained and loves exploring trails on his walks. When he meets new people, he loves being told that he's handsome! Back home, this very smart boy learns quickly when given treats. He understands 'sit' and 'kiss' and is getting good at 'paw.'

He also loves his crate. He sleeps and takes naps there, loving his blankets, and does well when his fosters are away from home. He also loves couches and will lounge on them when he can. And he is fully house-trained.

Church can be happy as the only dog but will love a pup that will play with him and teach him so much, boosting his confidence while he acclimates to his new surroundings. He's an energetic, bouncy boy who will love playing with kids 10 and older. Come meet him. Offer him a car ride and he'll ride home with you!

PUPPIES AND OTHER HIGHLY-ADOPTABLE DOGS DISCLAIMER:

Puppies and other highly-adoptable dogs (small dogs or desirable-breed dogs) at APA! are very high in demand and usually have several interested adopters. Inquiring about a dog, meeting a dog, and even applying for a dog does not guarantee that you will be able to adopt the dog. Only one household will be able to adopt each dog, which means all other interested households will inevitably and unfortunately be disappointed. Please consider this in your search and set your expectations accordingly. Please also consider that adult dogs do not typically have competing adopters, and they need furever homes, too! Additionally, APA! does not allow the adoption of dogs who are related (e.g., littermates or mom and pup) to the same household for behavioral reasons.
