Mustard is a playful puppy who absolutely adores being loved by humans and being in their arms or laps. He can be carried over your shoulder like a baby and he will fall asleep in your arms.

He is such a fan of people! When his foster family first picked him up and put him in the car, it was party time!! He was super excited and eager to kiss and cuddle with their two kids. Now he loves being at home with the 9- and 11-year-old girls. He loves their attention.

He's also sharing the home with a doggie and they love being together and playing. Plus, he's living with a cat and they just nicely observe each other.

His perfect day involves eating, playing, and napping, either on his dog bed or in her foster mom's lap. He also relaxes and enjoys chewing his dog bone - or a noisy toy. He also enjoys taking a bath. He's very calm and stands patiently while he's washed and rinsed off.

He's a very smart puppy who almost fully understands 'sit,' 'stay' and 'give paw.' He enjoys being rewarded with treats and rubbed all over. He does well in his crate when his fosters are away from home. And he's working on his house-training and doing well on pee pads.

Mustard will love most homes and can do well with children and other pets. He will enjoy car rides and going on walks and even runs, so will make a great travel companion. He stays home alone well and will be so happy to greet you lovingly when you return home. Come meet this adorable boy!

PUPPIES AND OTHER HIGHLY-ADOPTABLE DOGS DISCLAIMER:

Puppies and other highly-adoptable dogs (small dogs or desirable-breed dogs) at APA! are very high in demand and usually have several interested adopters. Inquiring about a dog, meeting a dog, and even applying for a dog does not guarantee that you will be able to adopt the dog. Only one household will be able to adopt each dog, which means all other interested households will inevitably and unfortunately be disappointed. Please consider this in your search and set your expectations accordingly. Please also consider that adult dogs do not typically have competing adopters, and they need furever homes, too! Additionally, APA! does not allow the adoption of dogs who are related (e.g., littermates or mom and pup) to the same household for behavioral reasons.
