Cassandra

Cassie is such a brave young girl! She and her siblings were rescued after they were abandoned in a wooded area, but she has not let this mistreatment affect her spirits. She loves all people and other animals and always wants to be with them.

This very sweet, playful girl is in foster and she is very curious and loving with their two young kids. She loves to play with them. She is very comfortable with their seven dogs, understanding when they signal that they want playtime, and then loves to run and play with them. And she's very good with their cats.

She loves getting affection from her fosters and wants to hang out near them. She likes doing zoomies and then lays down and chills out where they are.

Cassie is excited to on walks and is great on her leash, pulling slightly at first and then becoming a very good loose-leash walker. At home, she's food motivated and quickly learning commands, working on 'sit,' 'stay' and 'leave it.'

She stays in the laundry room with her sister at night and when her fosters are working. She's learned that it's a safe place and she's comfortable there for up to 5 hours when they are away from home. And she is house-trained.

Cassie will love a home with affectionate pet parents who can take her for walks. She wants to meet all the people and dogs she sees and hopes to make friends in dog parks. She will enjoy 1 or 2 doggie housemates but can be the only pet. Come meet Cassie. She'll be so happy to see you!
