Oni is living with an active foster family and is learning how to be part of it! The family has other dogs, cats, and grandchildren. They go to the lake, on walks, and operate a ranch. Oni has learned to be a part of this lifestyle. At first, he wasn't sure of it. He would rather sit in the corner and watch. But he is enjoying all of it now!

Oni is a puppy who once had it a bit rough. He is missing part of his ear, has a few scars, and can be timid from time to time. Now he is learning to trust and play with people.

He does well with his fosters' 10 dogs and loves going on walks and playing with the 5 cats. He loves getting baths - one from a cat who thinks he needs a bath before he goes to bed. Plus, he's let a 4-year-old visiting grandson pet and feed him.

Oni enjoys getting his feet wet on hot days - either his water bowls, the stock tanks, or the lake. He is learning how to swim and likes it. He is also learning about his crate and is working on his house training.

Oni loves chilling in his bed when it is downtime. He is learning how to cuddle. He's learning that cuddling, hugs, or hearing sweet talk are great. Oni will give you a great big smile every morning, making your day start off wonderfully.

Oni will do great in a home with lots of love. He is a relaxed guy whose energy level is medium. He will make a great lounging partner and will like strolling in the park or even being a running friend. Come meet this lovable boy!

PUPPIES AND OTHER HIGHLY-ADOPTABLE DOGS DISCLAIMER:

Puppies and other highly-adoptable dogs (small dogs or desirable-breed dogs) at APA! are very high in demand and usually have several interested adopters. Inquiring about a dog, meeting a dog, and even applying for a dog does not guarantee that you will be able to adopt the dog. Only one household will be able to adopt each dog, which means all other interested households will inevitably and unfortunately be disappointed. Please consider this in your search and set your expectations accordingly. Please also consider that adult dogs do not typically have competing adopters, and they need furever homes, too! Additionally, APA! does not allow the adoption of dogs who are related (e.g., littermates or mom and pup) to the same household for behavioral reasons.
