Amunet is a clever, curious girl - and fearless! Now in foster, she's always on the move, freely roaming around the house to find things to sniff, play with and eat. Outdoors, she explores to see everything and even tries to climb up the slide to watch from up high.

She and her brother love to play and wrestle together. She's also having fun with her foster's big older dog. She follows him around the yard and tries to convince him to wrestle, too. She's also curious and excited to meet and play with other dogs.

Amumet is always excited to meet new people. She loves everyone and wants their attention. She is super lovable and very content playing with toys on the couch next to her people!

She recently met her foster's 5-year-old niece, but since she's energetic and jumpy when excited, she was happy to be held so the niece could pet her. She likes being held and is calm when her foster walks around with her in her arms. Then she loves to go play with her squeaky toys, puzzle toys, and bones.

Amunet is calm in her crate and does well there when her fosters are away from home. She's great in the car and was a champion when she got her vaccines and nails trimmed! She is learning how to sit on command. And she is making great progress on her house training.

This sweet, energetic girl will love an active home where she can spend a lot of time with people. With her puppy energy, she'll do well with kids 7 and older. She will also love a dog buddy who has playful energy. Come tell her you have a lively, frisky dog and she'll run home with you!

PUPPIES AND OTHER HIGHLY-ADOPTABLE DOGS DISCLAIMER:

Puppies and other highly-adoptable dogs (small dogs or desirable-breed dogs) at APA! are very high in demand and usually have several interested adopters. Inquiring about a dog, meeting a dog, and even applying for a dog does not guarantee that you will be able to adopt the dog. Only one household will be able to adopt each dog, which means all other interested households will inevitably and unfortunately be disappointed. Please consider this in your search and set your expectations accordingly. Please also consider that adult dogs do not typically have competing adopters, and they need furever homes, too! Additionally, APA! does not allow the adoption of dogs who are related (e.g., littermates or mom and pup) to the same household for behavioral reasons.
