This cuddly and sweet pup can't wait to be your loving best friend furever!

Oakley would love to wiggle next to (and sometimes right on top of you) for cuddles. He greets every new human he meets by showing off his most perfect "sit and looking up at you with his warm brown eyes.

He's started to show us his goofy and energetic personality. He knows some basic commands, and has made quick progress on potty training, and we believe he'll be able to learn very quickly in a home (especially if treats and toys are involved)

He would do best in a home where he can be the only pet and have lots of quality time with his humans, but he could also be paired with a well-matched dog friend. This incredible pup has so much love to give and will be a loyal companion to his forever family. Come meet Oakley today!

PUPPIES AND OTHER HIGHLY-ADOPTABLE DOGS DISCLAIMER:

Puppies and other highly-adoptable dogs (small dogs or desirable-breed dogs) at APA! are very high in demand and usually have several interested adopters. Inquiring about a dog, meeting a dog, and even applying for a dog does not guarantee that you will be able to adopt the dog. Only one household will be able to adopt each dog, which means all other interested households will inevitably and unfortunately be disappointed. Please consider this in your search and set your expectations accordingly. Please also consider that adult dogs do not typically have competing adopters, and they need furever homes, too! Additionally, APA! does not allow the adoption of dogs who are related (e.g., littermates or mom and pup) to the same household for behavioral reasons.

INTERESTED IN FOSTERING?

This pup is currently located at our Town Lake Animal Center (1156 W. Cesar Chavez, but use 1200 Reserve Road for mapping purposes). We'd love to show them off to you! To learn more about them, head in any day between 12:00PM - 6:00PM. We are open 7 days a week! Go to Building B and ask to speak with a Matchmaker about fostering this pup. You will sit down and discuss all we know about them and, if it's a good fit, get to meet them then! Please budget for a wait time unless you arrive right at opening as we cannot dictate walk-in traffic (wait times tend to be highest in the evenings and on weekends). If this pup ends up not being the best fit, we have so many other pups in need that we can suggest for your household on the spot!

Come meet your new best friend
