Introducing Lollipop Kid, a charming and affectionate dog currently in a loving foster home. This delightful pup is looking for a forever family where he can continue to share his love and playful spirit.

Lollipop Kid lives with young children, ages 0-5, and maintains a neutral, calm demeanor around them. He's proven to be adaptable and gentle, making him a great fit for families with little ones. While he doesn't live with other pets, his interactions with new people are always positive, greeting everyone with a friendly wag and a hopeful look for belly rubs.

When left alone, Lollipop Kid does experience some separation anxiety, but he's well-behaved in his large crate with cozy bedding. He's mostly house trained, with only the occasional accident, and is working hard to master his bathroom routine.

Walking on a 12-foot leash, Lollipop Kid enjoys his strolls and explores the world around him with curiosity. He knows basic obedience commands like "sit," "bed," and "come," and he's always eager to learn more, especially when treats are involved. Sometimes a bit mischievous, he can be polite and respectful, and he adores cuddles and belly rubs.

Lollipop Kid's perfect day includes long walks, playtime with toys (especially stuffed animals), and plenty of cuddles with his favorite humans. He's versatile, enjoying both laid-back and adventurous activities, making him a wonderful companion for a variety of lifestyles.

The ideal home for Lollipop Kid is one where his family is around often, as he loves being close to his people. He'd thrive in an environment that offers both relaxation and opportunities for fun and exploration. Whether lounging on the couch or heading out for a hike, Lollipop Kid is happiest when he's with his loved ones.

If you're looking for a sweet, loving, and playful addition to your family, Lollipop Kid is ready to bring joy and companionship into your life. Come meet him and see how quickly he'll melt your heart!

PUPPIES AND OTHER HIGHLY-ADOPTABLE DOGS DISCLAIMER:

Puppies and other highly-adoptable dogs (small dogs or desirable-breed dogs) at APA! are very high in demand and usually have several interested adopters. Inquiring about a dog, meeting a dog, and even applying for a dog does not guarantee that you will be able to adopt the dog. Only one household will be able to adopt each dog, which means all other interested households will inevitably and unfortunately be disappointed. Please consider this in your search and set your expectations accordingly. Please also consider that adult dogs do not typically have competing adopters, and they need furever homes, too! Additionally, APA! does not allow the adoption of dogs who are related (e.g., littermates or mom and pup) to the same household for behavioral reasons.
