Waffle is the total package: sweet, handsome, smart, and always ready for his next adventure. After spending a few weeks in foster care, he has proven himself to be an affectionate, happy-go-lucky pup who is guaranteed to steal your heart—especially with those irresistible eyes!

Waffle loves everyone he meets, both people and dogs. He gets along wonderfully with larger dogs and would enjoy having a playful canine companion, but he's also happiest simply being close to his people. He's a champion cuddler who loves affection just as much as he loves playtime.

For such a young dog, Waffle has excellent manners in many areas. He's a perfect gentleman in the car, walks nicely without barking at other dogs, and has been 100% house-trained in his foster home—not a single accident in over two weeks! He sleeps soundly through the night after a good walk and some playtime to get his puppy wiggles out.

Like any youngster, Waffle is still learning. He's working on puppy habits like jumping up to say hello and the occasional counter surf, but he's eager to please and catches on quickly. He hasn't been destructive in his foster home (just remember to keep shoes and socks picked up—he is still a puppy, after all!).

Waffle is incredibly smart, already knows "sit," and is very food motivated, making training both easy and fun. He takes treats gently, listens well, and settles quickly with a little reassurance, gentle pets, and kind words when he gets excited.

Whether it's hiking a new trail, exploring a local park, taking a road trip, or curling up on the couch after a day of fun, Waffle is ready to be your loyal sidekick. He's looking for a family who will continue his training, give him plenty of love, and include him in all of life's adventures.

If you're searching for a playful best friend with a loving heart and endless potential, Waffle is ready to waffle his way right into your family.

PUPPIES AND OTHER HIGHLY-ADOPTABLE DOGS DISCLAIMER:

Puppies and other highly-adoptable dogs (small dogs or desirable-breed dogs) at APA! are very high in demand and usually have several interested adopters. Inquiring about a dog, meeting a dog, and even applying for a dog does not guarantee that you will be able to adopt the dog. Only one household will be able to adopt each dog, which means all other interested households will inevitably and unfortunately be disappointed. Please consider this in your search and set your expectations accordingly. Please also consider that adult dogs do not typically have competing adopters, and they need furever homes, too! Additionally, APA! does not allow the adoption of dogs who are related (e.g., littermates or mom and pup) to the same household for behavioral reasons.
