Jada is very affectionate and is great with new people and kids. She's assertive and friendly with other dogs, often initiating play. She likes swimming, gets cold easily (and loves to warm up under a blanket in front of a heater), doesn't pull on walks, and is highly motivated by food.

She loves playing tug-of-war and if you give her a bone, she'll spend 30 minutes trying to find a place to hide it, then she'll spend the next 10 minutes worrying someone saw her hiding spot before picking it up to move it somewhere else! Her greatest ambition is to one day catch a squirrel and she can be pretty sneaky until the other dogs realize what she's doing and tip the squirrel off.

She does great with other dogs, though she can be protective of her food (feeding at the same time in separate spots fixes that completely). She's very gentle with kids. She may be a little too curious and persistent to live with a cat but has never had the opportunity to do so.

Jada is looking for the perfect family to welcome her with open arms. Come meet her!
