Jax will always greet you with a wagging tail - whether it's coming home after a long day at work or coming in from the other room, he's always happy to see you. He loves to cuddle and if you pat your lap, he'll scooch closer to put his head on you.

His foster mom says he is a perfect houseguest, never gets into trouble or has accidents, and always hangs out in the kitchen when she's cooking. He gets along very well with his foster brother - they share toys and snooze on the couch together all day. Even though his foster bro sometimes tries to initiate play, Jax is content to just hang out.

Jax can be a little unsure of new people in his house and out in the world, so he would prefer a low traffic home with somebody who is comfortable letting him meet people on his terms.

Jax is a happy boy ready to do it all with his person - go on runs, play hard, and nap on the couch. He is exceptionally smart and eager to continue learning new tricks. Come meet your new wingman!

Some cats prefer mice-hunting to bird-watching, and some prefer laying in grass to sitting on laps. Here at APA!, we believe that barn cats still deserve a chance to live happy and healthy.
