You know when the doorbell rings and you just HAVE to find out what's going on behind the door? Not Tano - he doesn't care what's behind the door. The only time he cares about the door is when you tell him it's time for a walk, and then he can't wait to get through it! Tano loves going on walks and does great on a leash, and you'll be surprised how fast he can walk for what a hunky chunk he is. And if there's a treat or a walk in his future, he knows sit and paw. Otherwise, what's even the point?

Tano spends most of the day and night sleeping. He has a lower energy level, but after a few naps he's charged up enough to skip around or pick up a toy for a few minutes. He enjoys throwing them around, but he doesn't need you to participate. He's figured out how to play fetch with himself, so you can just watch him be a goof while you go about your day. And for Tano all toys are created equal - he currently has about 6 favorites that he rotates chewing on.

Tano's always making his foster parents laugh, whether if it's watching him try to run, the way he plays with his toys or finding out where he'll nap next. He's not a clingy guy, but he may come and check on you once he wakes from his current nap and then will find a new nap spot near you. He'll also find the most awkward place in the house and make that his new napping spot. Like a pile of pillows, an ottoman or a chair at the kitchen table. He's so innovative!

Tano likes all people and will not jump on them when greeting. He just hopes the next person that enters the room will give him some scratches or some snacks. As long as he's laying down, he's a happy boy, but he prefers if you lay with him and give him scratches. And when there aren't pets to be had, he'll take matters into his own paws and rub his body against the perimeter of the room or the back of the couch to get those hard to reach spots! He's also a very quiet dog to have around, he's fully house-trained and does very well in his crate. The only time he makes noise is if he needs to potty or he's having a bad dream.

Sweet, goofy, low maintenance and just an all around lovable Chonk, Tano is going to make some lucky family very happy. Come meet him!
