If you're looking for a well-behaved, gentle and beautiful dog who loves all things calm and relaxing, Vickie might be the perfect dog for you!

It may take this sweet and shy girl some time to come out of her shell with new people, but once she does, she's happy to let you love on her and follows you around to show just how much she appreciates you. She has some sadness to her, but that seems to go away when she has her head in your lap getting ears scratches. Vickie most favorite things in life include rides in the car and long leisurely walks around the neighborhood with her human. Vickie absolutely loves her walks, she's great on leash, and she's also up for the occasional fetch session when she's in the mood.

Vickie's foster dad says she's the most well-behaved dog he's ever known. She's so quiet and low key that sometimes you don't even realize she's there. Although Vickie enjoys being loved on, she isn't one of those dogs that's constantly going to be up in your business. And learning new skills are no challenge for Vickie. She already knows sit and stay and waits for you to "free her as well. She's fully house-trained, and one of her silly quirks is when she goes out to do her business, she stretches her legs one at a time for a few seconds as though she's doing doggie yoga! She does well left home alone uncrated, happy to nap the day away until you return. She also does well with the cats in her foster home. Her foster says she just ignores them as if they're not there, but not the cat food - this sly girl will occasionally sneak a snack from them when nobody's looking!

This sweet, mellow and appreciative lady will make a wonderful addition to any number of loving homes. Come meet her!
