Are you binging your favorite series? Mary is! Do you like relaxing in the backyard? Mary does! Sprinkle some zoomies in there and she might be your perfect match. She is a homebody and loves to cuddle in her blanket next to you for hours watching TV. Headed outside to barbeque or throw the ball, Mary is happy to follow you. She thinks her calling in life is to be the shadow of her people. In her eyes, you are perfect and she will make sure you know it every time you come home to her wagging tail.

Mary can be a little shy when she first meets you, but once she spends one night in your home, she is in love! Being shy means she can get a little nervous around new people in her home, but if you work with her on multiple and slow introductions, she'll warm up and welcome her new friends. Mary likes to be sure everyone, including herself, feels safe and secure. She's not a very social girl and will turn down an evening out to stay home and snuggle with you and those new friends of hers!

If she had a backyard, she would love to off her zooming skills and play with her toys. She is all about her Kong and training games that let her show off what a smartypants she is. Venture out for a walk and Mary will happily impress you with her leash skills. While she can get over-excited and do gymnastic type flips when she sees other dogs on leash, but she knows she can rely on her parents to reassure her with treats and a "Good Girl" that she is fine.

Mary would do well in a low-traffic home where she is the only pup giving you all the attention! She is open to sharing you with a kitty friend as long as the introductions are slow. This perfect size girl is looking for a loving, confident companion who will continue her training, and in return, she promises to shower you with unlimited kisses and affection! Grab your series binge list and come meet Mary!

INTERESTED IN FOSTERING?

We are currently closed to the public and are only open by appointment (foster or adopter), but we are still diligently working to place dogs in foster homes! You can inquire about fostering a specific dog by submitting an inquiry through the dog's individual profile on this website or by emailing [email protected] to get more information about how to be matched with a foster dog.

Please do not visit our shelters without talking with us first. To prevent community spread, we cannot have large crowds gathering in our shelters.
