French Fry is an extremely affectionate pup who loves to snuggle with his people more than anything, and that smooshable face and soft coat make for the perfect cuddle buddy.

While snuggle time is his favorite time, French Fry also loves to exercise and can run for miles and even catches frisbees in the air! He LOVES to play and is never without his chew toys. His rope and Kong are his favorites, he's a big fan of playing tug of war, but he's also content just keeping himself entertained with his chew toys.

French Fry is very treat-motivated and eager to please and already knows sit and stay. He's house and crate-trained and does great in his crate when left alone. He walks well on leash and has been good about ignoring cats when he sees them.

French Fry is learning even more skills in APA!'s Total Obedience Program (TOP), which is modeled after the AKC's Canine Good Citizen (CGC) test. As a TOP dog, he has a personalized training plan and works with a volunteer trainer several times a week to help him learn skills like walking nicely on leash, sitting calmly when approached by strangers or other dogs, staying in a sit or down until told "free," coming when called and "place", which means he will go to a specific place in your home on command.

As part of APA's Total Obedience Program you can work with APA staff to continue to build a training relationship with French Fry after adoption and master all the TOP dog skills together. Check out a video on APA's CGC program, on which the TOP was based: https://vimeo.com/89434193

Sweet, loyal, cuddly, athletic and adventurous, French Fry would love a home with outdoorsy, active people who will give him plenty of snuggle time. If that sounds like yours, come meet this great pup!
