Full of playful energy, sweet, happy and rambunctious, James is always ready for fun! James clearly thinks he's still a puppy, and when he gets up in the morning and everyone else is having their morning coffee, James needs to get in the yard and do some zoomies to get his ya-yas out. When James is in zoomies mode, he builds up a lot of momentum and spins around like a little white tornado. Then once he's all wound down, he's happy to snuggle and watch a game or a movie with you.

As energetic as he is, James is a real cuddlebug and wants to be in your lap as much as possible and loves getting butt scratches and belly rubs. He's a big fan of squeaky toys and playing tug of war and is learning fetch, and he will always give you a big smile when he's having fun. In addition to tearing around the yard, James enjoys going on long walks in the neighborhood and loves to swim. Whether you're up for a trail run, a mountain hike or a dip in the lake, James is always thrilled to join you! Take him for a ride in the car and he's one happy camper.

James is making good progress on his leash training and walks pretty well with a gentle leader. He's great on his own inside his crate, is fully house-trained and knows to alert his humans when it's time to go out for a potty break. He's also a smart pup and has already mastered "sit", "stay" and "down." James loves making his human friends happy, especially when they've got treats, so learning new tricks should be easy. And if you need a break from all that fun, James is great at entertaining himself with his toys or his treasured bully stick.

James can be a little shy with strangers at first, but he LOVES people and once he gets to know you, he's all tail wags and kisses and and wants to be at your side at all times. Once James flops over for belly rubs and smiles up at you with that big, goofy grin, it's impossible not to fall in love!

Sweet, cuddly and chock full of exuberance, James would love an active family who will include them in their activities and a big yard to call his own. James is ready to face any adventure that comes his way as long as you're by his side! Come meet this great pup!
