This sweet pup needs a foster ASAP! He has a fracture so will just need some good rest and a low activity lifestyle. He has been very sweet and just wants love and cuddles! Can you take him in?

Introducing Germany, a handsome 3-year-old Chocolate colored Lab mix. Germany is a popular young pup at the APA! office. Germany enjoys meeting new people and is friendly with everyone he meets at the office! He is always seeking out human affection and will lay down at your feet while you work. He will nudge you to let you know that he would love some pats.

Germany knows 'sit' and will try to sit for treats. He has a broken back leg so sitting is hard for him but he tries. Germany should be healed soon and up to learning new tricks and ready for adventure. Germany loves to go on walks and is non-reactive around other dogs, so he may do well in a home with another pet. He walks very well on his leash and is well mannered and easy going.

Germany enjoys special treats and likes to chew on rawhides. He also likes to play with his toys and play tug of war. He is super affectionate with everyone who comes into the office. He will occasionally go get his favorite toy to show it off to new people!

Germany is easy going and would fit into most homes. He is super easy to walk in the shelter and just fine with the high traffic environment that is the shelter office. He is a medium energy pup. He has a broken leg now so the shelter staff is keeping his activity low, but he seems like a guy who, once he's all healed up, would love to go on adventures but is also just fine being a homebody.

Are you looking for a handsome young Chocolate Lab mix to bring home from the shelter and spoil? Come meet Germany today!

INTERESTED IN FOSTERING?

We are currently closed to the public and are only open by appointment (foster or adopter), but we are still diligently working to place dogs in foster homes! You can inquire about fostering a specific dog by submitting an inquiry through the dog's individual profile on this website or by emailing [email protected] to get more information about how to be matched with a foster dog.

Please do not visit our shelters without talking with us first. To prevent community spread, we cannot have large crowds gathering in our shelters.
