Despite his regal name, King Triton appreciates the simple things in life - playing with his toys, snuggling, and most of all, being with his people. Whenever you're together, KT (as he's affectionately called) will curl up at your feet, next to, or on top of you if you want. However, he's just as happy stretching out on a nearby dog bed and chilling out or entertaining himself with his toys.

King Triton likes playing tug and fetch, loves sunbathing outside, and has been known to splash in a kiddie pool (how cute is that?). He's good in a car, great on a leash, and perfectly house-broken. His whole body wiggles and he has a big smile when he sees the people he loves, and he's learned to eat a cheeseburger politely, should you choose to give him one. You couldn't ask for a more adoring and affectionate companion, with great obedience skills to boot!

King Triton is a sensitive guy who will need some time and support to adjust to your home. He's currently living in a foster home, where he's working on feeling more comfortable being home alone. When you adopt him, you'll receive free assistance from experts who specialize in helping dogs who feel anxious when their people leave. #thankstomaddie.

An ideal home for King Triton is one with only adults and mature teenagers. He'd love a home with a yard to sun himself in and where people he doesn't know aren't going in and out (although he loves for his human friends to visit!). He might be able to live with a well-matched dog - this handsome boy has made some lady dog friends at APA! who he enjoys playing with - check out his video!
