Despite his regal name, King Triton is a super fun goofball with a side of calm quietness. He has the best time playing with his toys, but when it's time to settle down, he loves nothing better than to lay by his people, enjoying their company.

King Triton has been on many day trips to his favorite volunteers' home and most recently had a sleepover. With consistent outings, he's learning to relax when left alone. He's still a work in progress, but has made great strides and will continue to do so once he's settled in his home. King Triton likes to sleep on the bed if invited, but is just as content being nearby. For a pup his size, he's pretty graceful getting around.

If you're a homebody or work from home, you'll love King Triton's quiet company. He'll curl up at your feet, stretch out on the couch, or make himself comfortable while you go about your business. He loves his toys, and enjoys fetching them or playing tug rope. He'll sit and wait for you to throw them. Seeing the joy in his eyes when he has the chance to play with toys is a great way to end a long day.

King Triton enjoys the outdoors too. He loves splashing in the kiddie pool, and navigates the agility course with ease - especially if you have treats! He has a doggie friend or two that he likes to play with, so he could go home with a well-matched pup.

He's also in the TOP dog training program where he's busy learning basic obedience skills that will help him succeed in his forever home. He's already house-trained, and is working on being crate-trained.

King Triton would love a low traffic home with a yard to romp in. In return he promises to keep you entertained and adored. He's just waiting for you to give him the chance to show his great potential! Come meet this regal boy today!

You can inquire about fostering a specific dog by submitting an inquiry through the dog's individual profile on this website or by emailing [email protected] to get more information about how to be matched with a foster dog.

Please do not visit our shelters without talking with us first. To prevent community spread, we cannot have large crowds gathering in our shelters.
