Grizelda has such a hard time deciding what she loves the most - playing or being a couch potato. It's a tough decision! This sweet, affectionate girl loves to play, run, go on walks, and play fetch. Then when she's tuckered out, she wants to be a couch potato. If you are on the couch with her, she'll want to curl up in a ball next to you.

She is a very active dog who wants at least one walk a day. She's so fascinated by all those other critters she sees -- deer, dogs, cats, squirrels, lizards, bugs, etc. In her foster's backyard, she is constantly digging her nose in bushes to see what cache of jewels she can find.

This super smart girl answers to many commands, such as "sit," "lay down," "roll over," and "go to bed." She'll even answer to "play dead," laying down until told to get up. Grizelda loves to be with people all the time. She does very well with adults and older children and prefers to be their only pet. Come meet this lively, lovable lady!

INTERESTED IN FOSTERING?

We are currently closed to the public and are only open by appointment (foster or adopter), but we are still diligently working to place dogs in foster homes! You can inquire about fostering a specific dog by submitting an inquiry through the dog's individual profile on this website or by emailing [email protected] to get more information about how to be matched with a foster dog.

Please do not visit our shelters without talking with us first. To prevent community spread, we cannot have large crowds gathering in our shelters.
