Cusack aka McLovin aka StudMuffin is no ordinary dog, he's the complete package: handsome, playful, snuggly and always ready for playtime or a quality nap. The only question is, are you ready to give this wrinkly love ball a forever home?

Once you're in with Cusack, he loves to give kisses and enjoys some good scratches. He will gently put his big, adorable paw on your arm and give you a big smile to ask for pets and will scoot close to you to snuggle up. He is also a lover of water and is always up for a stroll or lounging poolside. Cusack enjoys playing with toys, he is good at fetch and gentle in tug-of-war, but is equally content to chew on a toy by himself. As an extra bonus, when Cusack chases toys his big paws make the most adorably soft padding sound and he looks like a big puppy as they flop around!

Cusack is currently living in foster and has proved himself to be a really good house-guest. He is crate-trained and will sleep all night without making a sound (except for the occasional snore or two) and loves to bring his toys into the crate for some solo play time. He also seems housebroken and will let you know when he needs to go outside.

This handsome fella also enjoys learning new things and is in APA!'s Total Obedience Program. The Total Obedience Program (TOP) is modeled after the AKC's Canine Good Citizen (CGC) test. As a TOP dog, Cusack has a personalized training plan and works with a volunteer trainer several times a week to help him learn the skills to become the best dog he can be!

Cusack is working hard to become a wonderful companion, and as a part of APA's Total Obedience Program you can work with APA staff to continue to build a training relationship with him after adoption and master all the TOP dog skills together. Check out a video on APA's CGC program, on which the TOP was based: https://vimeo.com/89434193

If you are ready to add a whole lot of love to your life, come meet Cusack and be ready to be swept away!

Some cats prefer mice-hunting to bird-watching, and some prefer laying in grass to sitting on laps. Here at APA!, we believe that barn cats still deserve a chance to live happy and healthy.
