Leon is on our RuffTail team, and while he's not high energy, he does like to get out on the trail with his person and see the sights. He walks nicely on leash and is very well behaved passing dogs, strollers, etc. He's a pretty big boy, but very chill, and he has an infectious happiness that is quickly winning over staff and volunteers at the shelter.

Gentle and easy-going, Leon is happy to hang out and maybe catch a few tennis balls. He's great at fetch and will drop the ball right at your feet for another toss. And if you're all fetched out, he'll just walk around with the ball in his mouth until the next game starts up.

With his smooshable face, Leon makes for a great cuddle buddy and likes to spoon and sleep in bed with his person if that's an option. Leon would make a wonderful addition to any number of loving homes. Come meet this big sweetheart!

INTERESTED IN FOSTERING?

We are currently closed to the public and are only open by appointment (foster or adopter), but we are still diligently working to place dogs in foster homes! You can inquire about fostering a specific dog by submitting an inquiry through the dog's individual profile on this website or by emailing [email protected] to get more information about how to be matched with a foster dog.

Please do not visit our shelters without talking with us first. To prevent community spread, we cannot have large crowds gathering in our shelters.
