Is your dog bored and lonely and in need of a doggie playmate? Do you have a bunch of dog toys lying around that are going unused and unloved? Do you need more corgi-shaped laughter in your life? Then Sissy might be the dog for you!

Sissy loves dogs of all sizes and shapes, but she hasn't had a lot of exposure to these weird creatures called "humans," and she finds them a bit scary. But like the smart girl scientist she is, she is determined to figure out what these humans are all about. She finds people fascinating and she's always watching and taking mental notes. And she likes to conduct experiments: can she walk close to you without you trying to grab or pet her? If so, plus 10 points for you! Do you have dog toys? Plus 5 points! Are you generous with the treats? plus 50 points!

Even though she's not sure about petting and grabby hands, Sissy wants to get in on whatever the other dogs are doing. If a dog seems to like something, then she wants to try it, too. On a recent sleepover, Sissy got up the courage to sneak in a kiss on the human's hand while they were petting another dog. She watches other dogs to learn how to interact with humans, so she needs a home that already has at least one dog-friendly dog living there who can be a role model for her and show her the ropes. She would love it if that dog liked to play as much as she does, and if the dog likes to cuddle, too, well, that would be perfection!

With a doggie friend or two, along with her intelligence, curiosity and strong desire to be social, Sissy will be on her way to making new friends and learning to navigate the world. And to help do her part, Sissy is already crate-trained (she loves her crate) and also appears to be house-trained.

When Sissy finds the right human who will take her out of the shelter and give her a safe and loving home, we're sure she'll become the most loyal and grateful dog ever. Come meet this brave little pup!
