Triscuit is a very playful pup that loves going for car rides and cuddling with her humans. Triscuit is one of those rare dogs that seems to prefer male humans and loves snuggling with her foster dad. She's a real couch potato, definitely thinks she's a lap dog and also gives sweet kisses. And the resident Roomba doesn't seem to bother her!

She does great in the car, she's house-trained, already knows "sit" and "go to your bed". And with how treat-motivated she is, it's no surprise she's thriving in APA!'s Canine Good Citizen (CGC) program where she works with a volunteer trainer several times a week toward the goal of passing the American Kennel Club's CGC test.

To pass the CGC test, a dog must demonstrate obedience and general reliability in real world situations. Dogs in the CGC program learn to walk nicely on leash, sit calmly when approached by strangers or another dog, how to greet people appropriately, stay in a sit or down until told "free," and come when called.

Triscuit has been working hard to be a dog you can take anywhere with pride, and as part of APA's CGC program you can work with APA to continue to build a training relationship with her after adoption and get officially CGC certified for free!
