To Madi, her human friends are the people she wants to entertain. This silly, goofy girl loves to chase her tail, throw her toys around and chase them, then roll halfway over with her paws in the air and stare at you. Aren't I funny? she asks.

Madi is an active lady who also likes going on walks and runs, making progress on learning to walk nicely by her person's side. She is on medication for some anxiety she can have when meeting new people and seeing unfamiliar objects. But once she realizes people are nice, she's happy to meet them and give kisses! She's had doggy friends she gets along with, and has been to daycare where she has made some pup friends.

Now in foster, this loving girl will follow her foster from room to room, sometimes pawing her to get her attention. And she will want to cuddle on the couch. She's also happy to chew bones and snooze on the balcony while her foster works. Madi is very smart and knows many commands including sit, down, stay, leave it (if you leave treats on her paws she will wait until hearing "free" to eat them). She's a house-trained girl who sleeps with her foster at night, and is also happy to go in her crate, sleeping there and doing well when home alone.

Madi's ideal home will be one in a quiet neighborhood with adult parents who are home a lot and can continue her training. She'd also love a yard she can roam, but she's okay as long as she can get exercise. She can be picky about what dogs she likes, so she'd probably do best as the only pet. Come meet Madi, she'd love to be your new best friend!
