Want to see a huge smile on Colorado's face? Just give him a yard to run zoomies in! And if you want to see an even happier boy, just give him a car ride. He loves those zoomies and especially loves those speedy car rides because he gets to be with his chauffeur person.

Colorado loves his humans and wants to be with them all the time, hopefully with his head in their laps or cuddling in bed. And he loves walking with them on his leash, just pulling occasionally and easy to correct. At home, this loyal boy also loves playing tug-o-war with his people, and happy to play with his squeaky toys and rawhide bones. He's very food motivated, not picky at all, but doesn't beg at the table.

He's an energetic boy, but he does enjoy frequent naps, so will stay in his crate, preferably with the door open. He's house-trained and likes taking potty breaks out in that yard he loves to zoom. If you'd like to have a new best friend by your side, come meet Colorado. He'll be your most loyal companion ever.

INTERESTED IN FOSTERING?

We are currently closed to the public and are only open by appointment (foster or adopter), but we are still diligently working to place dogs in foster homes! You can inquire about fostering a specific dog by submitting an inquiry through the dog's individual profile on this website or by emailing [email protected] to get more information about how to be matched with a foster dog.

Please do not visit our shelters without talking with us first. To prevent community spread, we cannot have large crowds gathering in our shelters.
