Josephine is a very sweet and fun girl with a big heart and big energy! She loves to cuddle and wants to be by her human's side whenever she is awake. She never gets tired of getting pets, especially on her belly! She does enjoy naps in the late morning, but will happily take every chance she gets to go outside to run and play.

Tug-of-war is one of her favorite games, but she is still learning how to play gently, so she loves to take out some of her energy on her stuffed toys as well. Josie has a strong personality and when she's done walking she will flop down where she stands to let you know she needs a break. She's very curious about her surroundings and often pauses on her walks to observe passing cars, people, and other dogs.

Josephine is still learning good manners and has made a lot of progress in a short time. She is good about not jumping when greeting her humans, but sometimes has a hard time containing her excitement when meeting new people. She is also learning "sit", "stay", and "ok" to walk or go through a door. Josephine is very treat motivated (peanut butter treats are her favorite!) and takes her treats from your hand very politely.

After a long day of playing, Josephine is more than happy to curl up in your favorite chair or pass out on the couch, where she will sleep soundly through the night until it's time to do it all over again the next morning!
