Turtle is more like a hare when it comes to playtime! His little butt will start to wiggle when he knows you are going to the yard to play. He loves to zoom around and chase after his fluffy toy named Blue. Now, if you are hoping he'll bring the toy back for you to throw, you'll be waiting a while. He is working on the return part of his fetch game!

Are you up for exploring the outdoors, especially the less traveled trails? Turtle is an avid rock climber and trail walker! He zigs and zags from smell to smell when checking out new paths. Because he can be particular about his dog friends, he likes the more secluded and quiet routes. Just grab a bungee leash and get ready for adventures!

Turtle is a shy boy that likes to take his time when meeting new people. But once he sees how amazing you are, he will shower you with kisses! Next, he'll be asking to snuggle and rolling over for belly rubs. Ear rubs are kind of Turtle's relaxing go-to. His eyes will roll back, and his tongue will hang out! And should you decide to stop rubbing, you will get a friendly paw reminder to continue.

Turtle is upping his skills game to impress his new parents. Not only is he crate trained and housetrained, but he is perfecting his sit, down, and place through APA!'s Total Obedience Program (TOP). To learn more about his training, check out a video on APA's CGC program, on which the TOP is based: https://vimeo.com/89434193

This pocket-size guy is looking for a patient, adult family that will play with him, take him exploring, and introduce him to new friends at his slower pace. His ideal home would have a yard or allow for access to open areas. In return, Turtle will be the best little boy he can be!

Turtle (and his toy, Blue) would love to meet you!
