Sweet Bridget is just about as affectionate as they come. Her foster parents can attest that this lovable doggo will make a lucky family very happy one day. If they weren't going to be so busy after this COVID mess, then they'd definitely keep her for themselves!

Two broken legs may stop most, but definitely not this pup. Bridget still manages to waddle after her favorite humans, play tug-of-war with her toys, and snuggle with anyone and everyone. What she's missing in mobility, she definitely makes up for in kisses. This oversized lap dog wants her big ol' head in someone's lap 24/7. She quickly became her foster mom's shadow and will sit at her feet when she's working and sprawl across her lap when relaxing. Before you see Bridget you can hear the THUMP THUMP THUMP of her excited tail. Her smile is contagious and her goofy personality is a day-maker.

Bridget is loyal, companionable, and expressive with her body language. She is potty trained and will stand by the door to let you know she needs to go out. She minds her manners, doesn't beg for food, and listens to commands. She does great in the car and is really just happy to be included in whatever's going on. While she does love to snuggle in bed, she also feels comfortable in her crate (good thing, too, because she's a bit of a bed hog and wants to sleep underneath you for most of the night).

Bridget is a great companion and will be the best, most comforting new addition to the right household. Come meet her and see if this snugglebug is a good fit for yours!

INTERESTED IN FOSTERING?

We are currently closed to the public and are only open by appointment (foster or adopter), but we are still diligently working to place dogs in foster homes! You can inquire about fostering a specific dog by submitting an inquiry through the dog's individual profile on this website or by emailing [email protected] to get more information about how to be matched with a foster dog.

Please do not visit our shelters without talking with us first. To prevent community spread, we cannot have large crowds gathering in our shelters.
