Sitter Needed: 11/21/21 - 11/27/21

Bridget is such a cuddle bunny! She loves, loves, loves being close to her human friends and in their laps, whether that's in bed, on the couch or in a chair at your desk. If you're working on your computer, she'll try to crawl in your lap, snorting for your attention.

This playful girl's ideal day in her foster home has consisted of lounging around in the morning, maybe playing in a yard with some sunbathing, then watching a movie and falling asleep on the couch. She can be a lazy lady who loves playing with squeaky, plush toys and playing tug with her people before snuggling with them.

She can be an outgoing, spunky and goofy girl who enjoys walks in low traffic areas at a slow steady pace since she once had leg injuries that she is recovering from. She can sometimes react to cats, birds and people she sees, and is afraid of dogs, trying to pull away from them. But she has done well strolling around baseball fields. She minds her manners and doesn't beg for food.

She also understands "sit" and "down." She is house-trained and will stand by the door to let you know she needs to go out. She's only had an accident when she didn't want to go out during a rainstorm. She's had some anxiety when left home alone, but is doing well in her crate, sleeping there overnight, and she can free roam the house. She just may get agitated when she sees people through windows or when packages are delivered.

Bridget hopes to be the only pet in an adult-only home with a backyard where she can sunbathe. And for sure, she'll want her people to be around her a lot. Parents who have some training experience would also be good. Come meet your future cuddle bug. And see this photogenic girl on Instagram: @bridgetthepiglet.
