Meet Saisy, who is known as "Roo by her friends and family. She is a designer breed (boxer/chihuahua). She has the coloring, expressive eyes, small underbite, and temperament of the boxer and the small size, ears, face and "I own the world" attitude of a chihuahua. She was born paralyzed in the hind end, and the joints in her rear legs are mis-aligned. She was left outside of a hotel and was rescued and sent to APA for treatment!

Saisy's right leg had to be amputated and she cannot use my left one. However, she is very mobile with a wheelchair and by hopping. Due to the paralysis she cannot control her bowels and bladder, so she wears diapers and must be cleaned and changed several times a day. But she pays you back in spades with little loving kisses. She is a happy, active, and playful girl who enjoys a game of ball and is a champ at tug of war. But she is mostly happy just being with her person.

If you have room for this sweet girl in your home and heart, she will reward you with a lifetime of loyalty, companionship and love.
