Regina George, Queen of the Mean Girls. But seriously folks, Regina George is no mean girl. She is one of the sweetest babies you will ever meet! She is all about the cuddles and kisses.

This young girl has luxating patellas in her hind legs, and will need surgery on both knees. APA! will provide the surgery soon. Right now, she sometimes needs help getting up from a resting position. It is difficult and painful for her to get to her feet, but she is starting to be able to get up on her own, using some muscle and a sling. Once she is up on all four, she is house-trained and is able to walk and go outside. After surgery, she will likely need to be on a strict rest with limited activity while she recovers.

Now in foster care, Regina is sharing the home with her foster's two dogs. She is super playful with the social one and is very respectful of the non-social one, giving her space. She's curious about her foster's cats, but also respects their space. She does well when her foster is away. Regina is very shy with new people, and when she sees them, she gets a concerned look on her face and sometimes freezes up. Simply sitting down near her and talking sweetly to her usually loosens her up to be more comfortable with them!
